The Business Travel event of the year is here!
GBTA 2017 will be getting under way this July in Boston from the 15th to 19th. The convention is one of the largest business travel events in the world, with over 7,000 travel professionals from around the world and attendees form over 50 countries.
So what’s the hype all about with GBTA 2017?
At the convention you get the chance to network and interact with companies and individuals from all over the world – getting the inside scoop on what’s going on with all the latest trends in global business travel.
The theme of the convention this year is Convergence, and as an industry we are experiencing a convergence of geopolitical learnings that impact business travel, travel technology and buying decisions. You won’t want to miss the exciting panel, with leaders from areas including risk and security, immigration, relocation and procurement. They’ll be addressing the current issues facing our industries, global influences and the economy.
Even though the theme of convergence is now at the forefront of everyone’s mind at the convention, TBI have long been an advocate of the concept. Our whole philosophy is based around the convergence of expertise and technology, the idea that you cannot have one without the other, and the constant process of improvement and development based on these ideals.
Culture in our company is important – whether this is the positive culture of our employees working together, or the relationship we have with our partners and clients. At TBI, we’ve partnered with the likes of Concur, VISA and Amazon; connecting our systems in order to offer the best possible service to our clients. We view ourselves as a VAT-partner to our clients, an extension of their team, working continually to improve their VAT recovery year on year. Read some of our success stories here!
