San Diego Travel Blog

San Diego – where blue skies meet beautiful beaches to give you an experience of a lifetime. Located on the Pacific Coast of California, San Diego is known for it's near-perfect weather conditions, world-class attractions, as well as an abundance of outdoor adventures.

So what is there to do?

What’s a visit to San Diego without The San Diego Zoo?

The San Diego Zoo has been apart of San Deigo since 1916 and is also one of the first zoos to build cageless exhibits. Home to more than 4,000 animals representing more than 800 species from aound the world, this 100 acre zoo is an urban paradies locaed in Balboa Park.

The Zoo is a unique walking experience that exhibits animals in the most natural way possible, adding shows and animal presentations throughout the day for additional enjoyment. Spend the day monkeying around in their tropical oasis as you visit amazing habitats for animals such as gorillas, tigers, flamingos, polar bears, birds of paradise, elephants, and more.

It even has Seaworld!

Do we have any history buffs?

For our history fanatics, we’ve got the USS Miway Museum. The longest-serving aircraft carrier in the world has been permanently moored at San Diego’s Embarcadero since 2004. Commissioned in 1945, the USS Midway served in the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm, before becoming the largest museum dedicated to aircraft carriers and naval aviation anywhere.

It’s called California’s Beach City for a reason!

Grab your beach towels, because you’ve got a multitude of beaches to catch some sunshine at. One of the liveliest is Mission Beach. Skateboard or bike your way down the boardwalk, join a game of beach volleyball or take a ride on the iconic beachfront roller coaster. But don’t limit yourself, check out La Jolla Beach, Coronado Beach and Pacific Beach – just to name a few!

Did we mention the food?

San Diego offers more than just fish tacos and beach smoothies. Some of the best Italian restaurants in the US can be found in San Diego’s own Little Italy, the largest Little Italy in the United States! Absolute gems such as BencottoBarbusa and Pappalecco are bursting with Italian cuisine.
